Yes, yes, I am with you now. It seems that if one would restore a Model A right down to the last bolt for a authentic restoration, that the restorer wouldn't add gizmos that didn't originally come on the car. For as many pictures there are of "restored" A's with them, Its easy to mistake the idea that they would have came with them originally.
