Figured maple for woodie
Ron Heiden sent me a shot of the actual fiddleback maple veneer
that is going on my 41 woodie in the panels, nice! This beautiful fiddleback is way less expensive than birdseye maple.

Tex, I used fiddleback Sapele, sometimes called Sapele Mahogany for the panels on my '46. It really is beautiful, but when you get the varnish on, it really makes the pattern stand out. Keep up with the pictures!
