Default Charlotte - Who's Going?

Haven't seen a thread started yet for the spring Charlotte Auto Fair so here goes. I will be hanging out with my ol' buddy Cliff in spaces XXO-20,21 Orange field next to the tunnel/track side - big motor home. Looking forward to a great weekend of chasing greasy old Ford parts. Who else is going to make it? Post your space number if you have one. See ya there.

Lee

I will be there in the green field. RG 83-84. I may be mostly away looking for stuff more than selling though. Seems like I always come home with more than I take.

Hey, Lee - I don't know if I can make it this year - I'll let you know if I can ....

BTW, I did find 2 more rims to match the ones I got from you. Tough though - bought them one at a time. Hopefully I'll be able to mount nice wide whites on them and be able to swap them between my 40 coupe and my 40 p-up ....

I plan to be there Friday and Saturday. I'm visiting some "race shops" on Thursday. Looking forward to it!

Back To The Top on Monday before the swap. Plan to drive up in the wee hours Wednesday morning to arrive around three pm and start walking. Tom, are you going to make it.

Going to be a wet one here at the speedway today. We'll have to walk between the raindrops. The weatherman's dart board says its going to clear tomorrow.

Good day so far. Between the sleet and the rain I picked up a nice 18" wire wheel and a set of '46-'48 front bumper irons to use on my '48 F1 panel project. Looks like the rain has set in now though. Time to watch tv in the motor coach.

Great weather today. Spent time Tom T and several H.A.M.B.ers. Picked up a nice pair of large number 97s. Also got a pair of aluminum front brake scoops from Charlie at Gene's Hot Rod Repair and a new Gene's T shirt. Thanks Charlie.

Lee.

Lee - always good to see you again, my friend. Made a Friday only bonzai run with my buddy Earl and his son - Earl scored a bunch of stuff and I bought about $60 worth of stuff that I walked the entire infield of the track and the green field for - boy, was I ever sore after that!

I caught up with a few Fordbarners, a few more from the HAMB, got a T-shirt @ Gene's - real nice folks - and made some new friends. All in all, it was a great day!
