Question 29 Roadster -Part ID Question

When my roadster was taken apart, the location of this subfame? part was not noted. A new subfame assembly was purchased and we cannot discern the proper location of the old part or its function, if needed, on the new subframe. Can anyone identify the part and describe its function?

You made me look...lol. It's not it...
It could be one of the pieces between the doors, below the threshold.

I agree with Bob C, it sure looks the brace that attaches to the back end of the front seat riser, and the front seat rests against it. The Snyder's picture is hard for me to orient, I almost wonder if it is for a 39-31 roadster, despite the caption.
