New video! Pulling my shed into alignment.
Got a wonky shed full of flathead bits? I had. It was leaning dreadfully. Follow along as I risk life and limb pulling it straight using the most basic tools.

Re: New video! Pulling my shed into alignment.
I owned a 1920s home at one time. Old craftsman bungalow. I didn't think they had a level or square among the carpenters. (granted homes don't need to be built to the mm).
Structures gain strength from the sheathing. Roof trusses can be pushed over till you add plywood. Glad you got it fixed. |

Here I'd just hitch a tractor on to pull the building straight and spike on some diagonal bracing to the studs. Although I see your walls were pretty hard to get to.

Yeah, on a fresh build plywood would have been a good idea. This shed is about 10 years old I just got fed up with it leaning and wanted to do something about it. Access was a bit difficult and the cls studding is cheap so that's the way I went. The other end of the shed has a bit of a lean also, I'm not sure if I can do anything about that, that's a problem for another day. Mart. |
