Question 33 5W Deluxe - Rear Window Qs

I'm still waiting for my EFV8 book to arrive...

My 33 has no side or bottom wood on the rear window - upper wood only. There is NO glass, no channel, no regulator, no roll down parts, so I can't verify if the window was a roll-down window or not from the factory.

I thought roll-down windows was an option, but now I'm reading that ALL 1933s had rear roll-down. Can anyone confirm?

I'm getting ready to install the wood on the sides and bottom without a drip pan and the package tray. I have the rear window molding and am needing to know how much space to leave between the rear metal and the interior window molding/trim.

Yes, all '33 coupes had a roll-down rear window whether they were standard or deluxe versions. The two not-all-that-helpful photos below are all that I have access to at present as I'm away from my car stuff for a month. Sorry.

The side channels that the rear window slides up and down in is 3/4" wide. You can use pieces of wood as shims and pull them out when the side wood is tacked to the window surround metal. The U-shaped bracket helps to hold the window side channels in place low in the wood when the window is rolled down. The L-shaped bracket holds the drip pan to the rear hinge bracket for the trunk.
