Trying the quick jack under the '41

I had the BL5000-SLX model since Nov 2017 this is the first time I got to try them on this car, seems to work great. I used the taller rubber blocks and raised it up to the first setting, can't go any higher as it would hit the garage opener. The Back wheels are about an in off the ground and the fronts are just hitting. I pushed on the car side to side and front to back it is rock solid, I still will put 4 jack stands under just because. Now the fun begins fixing the header and rebuilding the front end. I wish my garage had heat its about 35 degrees in here now, I do have a little buddy I can use to take the chill off.

Looks like an interesting system.
And with it's 3 inch minimum height would fit under my lowered car.
Only disadvantage (to me) is that it looks like if you want to access the center of the car you have to enter from the front or back.
And for some the 72+ pound weight per side may be an issue.

They are heavy and a little awkward, when I want to move them long distances I strap one at a time to my hand truck. I bought the 12 volt model so I could use them anywhere, my Walmart jumper pack works great raising and lowering.

From the quick jack site, looks like you can use them sideways, be aware that they move 11" forward,backwards or sideways depending on how they are placed.

Look'in better already.
And I suppose in regards to the weight/portability issue it may be possible to make a detachable set of dolly wheels to aid in the place to place movement.

There are two little wheels built into one end which help a little(only useful on very smooth surfaces), They also supply two arms that aid you in sliding them under the car sideways. You still need to lie on your back to work under the car.

Boy, that looks slick, but is that all the higher they go? That 's not nearly high enough for this old body. It looks like you still need a creeper and lie on your back to work under the car. Twenty years ago, I would have liked a pair, but the of way things are now, they would not be of much use to me.
