Default radiator hoses

I recently purchased hoses for my 59ab and they seem to be too short. The purchase was through Mac's. Are these china products? Where can I get the proper sized top hoses?

I bought a complete set of hoses (upper, lower) for my '41 from C&G.
They fit perfectly.

Your profile doesn't list where you're from but Joe's Antique Auto in Uxbridge, Massachusetts is a great source for parts. Very knowledgeable, super guy, fair prices, and fast and reasonable shipping.

You should probably know that "Mac's Auto Parts" (formerly of Lockport, NY and now operating under the umbrella of Ecklers Corvette Parts in Florida) is only used as a supplier of last resort by the knowledgeable folks on here (and believe me, some of the very best are here). I think someone on here has a list of the "good" vendors; if you hang around for a while, you'll figure out who is good and who is bad.

One thing; do not confuse "Mac's" with Mac VanPelt, who is one of the best suppliers on here. (For both parts and information.)

I got my rad hoses from Bob Drake, for my '46 Coupe, 59AB. They are "Ford Licensed", having the Ford p/n and logo printed on them. Don't know where they are made, but they fit properly. In my opinion, Mac's has gone down hill since it was bought out and moved to Florida. One thing I don't like about Mac's/Eckler's, is they hose you (pun intended) on shipping charges, at least to Canada anyway.

Which hoses did you purchase? And what is the vehicle?

You ALSO need to add Third Gen Automotive to your "First to Call" list. Mike Driskell, here on the "barn (35TN)" regularly does a FINE job too!!!!
