Default Harmon Collins distributor for V8

Can anyone help me out with a source for points & rotor for this unit .?

The butterscotch colored plastic parts and the cap are nearly impossible to find, if found they will be costly. I have seen points that fit the unit they come in a box from "Sierra Supply Company"

Jere Jobe at Vintage Carburetion Technologies rebuilds and restores these units. He used Bendix aircraft points in it. And he recommends running Standard UC-15's condensers for 12V. They have the resistor built in.

Joe, here's an older FB post on this subject https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showth...lins&showall=1

A fellow Fordbarner helped me find some Bendix aircraft points and some condensers for my HC distributor. These parts were exactly like the original parts. I don't know of a source for replacement plastic parts but Jere Jobe sounds like a possibility based on another post here. If you do find a good source for the plastic parts, please post your info on the source. Thanks!

plastic parts are virtually non existant...if you do find them they are in other units and no one wants to seperate them..i went through this with the two i had....then upgraded to an HC mag
