I bought a rebuilt 60 horse this winter. It was done many years ago and sat in a machine shop during that time. I pulled the heads and it looks like it was run on a test stand and put away, cylinder walls and piston tops look fresh. I am going to pull the intake and pan check for stuck valves and inspect the bearings for deterioration. Is Reds the best place for new gasket set? Also i dont plan to pull any studs from the block, is there anything I can put around the base of the studs to help prevent possible seepage or do I just go through breakin procedure and if necessary go to stop leak?
