I seem to frequently read about boosting horse power on this forum. Those who are into this horsepower chasing may find this link interesting. Go to the 4th. paragraph for the Model A information. Sorry if this old news to others, but I was stunned when I read the article.

I'm sure with all the go fast stuff they have a pretty exotic bottom end including a pretty stout fully counter balanced crank and a crank girdle.

Probably the only thing left model A is the block.

I would love to hear it at full song at Bonneville...

Of course, the article doesn't indicate the cost to make one of these 4 Bangers. You can build anything if you have the money. You could probably buy a nice stable of Fine Point Model A's for the cost of that engine!

The article says A engines are 103 ci. Mine is 200 ci, how about yours?

More than likely a typo. A .020" over Model A is ~203 cu in.

True !
Especially true, when you are using a nearly 90 yr old model A/B block !
If the truth of this is doubted, it can be vividly seen in pictures.
Those familiar with FAST mag, may remember a 2004 issue (cover) showing colored pics of a B engine in TWO halves, i.e.- upper and lower ! Guess what that engine cost and what rpms it was turning when it said 'turn me loose' ?

Whatever, but I think that guy is having more fun at work than I am!

His level of talent, expertise, and manufacturing resources seems enough to turn almost anything automotive that flits though his head into reality!
