Attached are some pictures of what looks to be a NOS latch (remains of the part number tag still attached)

Im guessing its for a trunk lid, as there is no were to attach the inside remote door handle.

But what year? Im guessing 41 to 48 going by the other parts it was mixed in with

Yep, looks like a '41-'48

Looks like 41-48 sedan trunk.

I'm not sure what sedans had, but it's not 46-48 coupe, they have a cup shaped tang on the end. 41 coupe still has that style however, so it could be 41.
