Default Scammer

Not sure if this is the right place to report this. I have a wanted ad posted on the Early Ford V8 Club. Was contacted by Nicolas Islo ([email protected]) claiming to have the part. He sent me a picture of the car he said he was "breaking". Wanted me to send a list of parts and he would give me price. The car in the picture he sent is 10 times nicer than mine. When I asked why not sell the car he said others need parts too. Would not send picture of part I posted for. I searched his name and found similar complaint claims on other sites, some for motorcycles, some for cars. Everyone reported him as a scammer. I also posted this on the Early Ford V8 Club site. Just wanted to give a heads up to everyone here in case he contacts others.

Sounds like [email protected]. Responded to my ad for a fuel pump stand. Supposedly has a 34 four door sedan he’ll sell for…..get this….$4500. Can’t go get it but he’ll deliver it if you SEND MONEY FIRST!

First clues…..ridiculously low prices and they want you to send money before they do anything.

Huh? $4500 still sounds a bit too high to me even with free delivery.

$4500 was for the whole car, not just the fuel pump stand.

Yes HD, I told him I’d be there in the morning with cash in hand. Said I can’t come to his house, send the money and he’ll have it delivered for $200.

Yet another name for the scammer list. I was contacted by another scammer, Dona Smal ([email protected]). This person used the exact same wording as Nicolas Islo. Sent a picture of a beautiful 36 Fordor claiming was breaking. I am seriously thinking of taking my wanted ad down. If I get one more of these scam attempts down it comes. Such a shame they ruin a good thing.
