Napa has it online. The part number is AFP571. Priced at $48.16.

I would be concerned about the pressure produced by those fuel pumps sold by NAPA, Airtex and others.
A pump rebuilt by Charlie ny or Ken ct would have a diaphragm resistant to todays alcohol enriched gas and the correct pumping pressure.

Sumitt Racing.

Good prices good service.

I've just ordered a Carter M825 for a 59A. (the M826 is for an 8BA). US made by Federal Mogul .

Tommy, yes it will fit, and will provide a built in glass sediment bowl, very useful to settle out the impurities caused by the fuel we get today.

JM 35 Sedan made a valid point regarding the spring pressure. Should you discover an excess fuel pressure situation as a result of installing this new pump, You may certainly replace it with the spring from an older pump, as they are all interchangeable.

You haven't been posting questions here as I'd have expected you to do since we conversed last. We're here to answer, but the questions are a prerequisite!

A slightly higher COLD fuel pressure is better than a lower pressure with todays gas. I like it in the 4.0 to 4.5 range cold and as the pump heats the pressure drops to say 3.5. This gas boils in the 125 degree F range and the hotter it gets the lower the pressure gets and you get vapor lock. When real hot you will see the pressure get down in the 2 lb range and start jumping up and down in pressure. With a slightly higher pressure it will usually pump through the problem before it starts. Cooler areas in the country may never or vary rarely have this problem. I live where it's over 80 degrees most of the year with times of well over 90 for long periods. I have done MANY tests under the same conditions under this heat condition and the results are predictable. I might add I use the double ball check valves available from Uncle Max to control carb float level. This type valve is very pressure sensitive and constantly opens and closes very slightly maintaining a fuel level the eye can not see change. Any one making or rebuilding pumps is or should be using material compatible with todays fuels and most additives. G.M.

If you go to a rebuilder, I'd suggest Charlie as your best option. He actually tests the pumps. What a concept, huh?

I also would recommend Charlie from NY , I agree with JM 35 , his diaphragms are superior for today's fuels. And like KUBES said they are tested.
