Jim, feel free to contact so we can compare notes. I don't like the treatments either, but I prefer them to the alternative. I have had good days, and bad days, but I am thankful for the treatments. People ask me how long do you have to do this. I tell them you have 2 choices, do it, or die. Then they get the message. Things could be worse. again, feel free to contact me. nick.

Hi Jim; Maybe you can show them at the hospital how to hop up the dialysis machine. No kidding, God bless, Craig.

I have a friend in one of the Model A clubs I belong to, that has been on dialysis for 6 or 7 years. He is in his upper 70s. The last several years he’s been using a machine at home, which still is time-consuming and it slowed him way down as well, but he still going at it. He’s in the middle of restoring a late 31 wide bed roadster pick up. Life’s not over, but it definitely slows you down. Best of luck. Check out the home machines!

Jim,
Very sorry about your health situation. Hope you can get back to enjoying some shop work, and maybe a Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale on occasion? I still do, thanks to you back in Wilmington Ohio, 2012 E.C.T.A.

The VA sure has been very good to me. I have had 4 eye operations there and if it was not for them I would be blind. Hope you get better so you can enjoy your work. God bless you Jim

Hi Jim,
I don’t know you except through this forum and your postings. I have always appreciated your genuine willingness to share your knowledge to help others with their ignition woes. I am so sorry for the current medical challenges that you face. I know that our God has a plan for each of our lives and only he knows what it is. I hope that you and your family can find comfort in the following verse from the Book of Romans 12:12, “Be joyful in hope, patient in tribulation and constant in prayer.”

May God bless you and keep you in his abiding grace always.

Russ

Made it to the shop today , got some emails caught up.....tomorrows a treatment day wont be back until friday .
First item out the door is the backlogged delcos that were pre ordered and paid with pay pal. Just a little assembly and testing to ship. So if ya have a delco ordered they should get shipped this week.
If we have your distributor and a crisis let me know and i will do my best to pull it out and put it ahead ( some have emailed and said take my time on their unit)........
Cant tell ya how nice this feels to be out in the garage (even if just for a short time this afternoon) ........

Sorry to hear about the health challenges you are having. On the bright side it could have been a lot worse! Very happy to hear you can still get out to your shop.

Some would say every new challenge is an opportunity. Perhaps this will give you the time to find some new outlets for your ingenuity and creativity.

Have you ever considered writing a book about identification, refurbishment and modifications for Ford Distributors? (Heck maybe you already wrote one!)

Best of luck, and I hope every week brings a continued improvement to your health.

Kirk

Sorry to hear about your health issues Jim. Follow doctors orders to the T. I believe everyone here has you in their prayers. I certainly do.

God Bless.

Jim, I'm pulling for ya. Got to be a tough adjustment. Try to not let the pressure push you. Watch out for those VOCs.

Jim, I dont know what sort of dialysis your on ,or if you have an option ,But, my wife Carol is, we were all set for the hemo dialysis but opted for the PD dialysis.best thing we did.
She has been on it for 7 months so far, no drama ,easy to do over night, free days, good health ,way better health than before,
BIG thing is ,its portable ,and ,I have set up our caravan with some lithium batteries and solar panels etc,so we can still travel away in the 33 and caravan, last month 2 weeks away out west ,great ,next month up to Mt Isa for the rodeo, about 2-1/2 weeks away.
PM me if you want some info.
BUT stay positive.
Lawrie
