Canadian car ?
During my carburetor rebuild I learned that my Zenith 3 (Ford built) carburetor was supposedly only used on late 1931 Canadian Model As. So my question is, how do I tell a Canadian car from a US car? Understanding fully that this may not be the original carb. that was on this car when new, but now am curious if maybe I have a Canadian car. Thanks.

Re: Canadian car ?
WHat sort of bumper clamps do you have? The Canadian versions had a carriage bolt running through the center of the clamp and bolting it to the bumper. The colour of the Ford script badge on the radiator shell can also indicate whether the part is canadian or not.

Re: Canadian car ?
Look at all the body screws. Door hinges..ect. Dash screws... Canadian cars used Robertson screws (square head). Not phillips or stot.

Re: Canadian car ?
Model A's manufactured by Ford of Canada used a mixture of Robertson and slotted screws.
The RG/JS has quite an extensive supplement if you want to learn more on Canadian A's.
