Have You Ever Seen A '36 Roadster Pick-Up ?
My friend, Trevor Paulson, of Brisbane, sent me this link from the Australian E-Bay offering a 1936 Ford Roadster Ute.
It seems that these are even rare in Australia. MIKE http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/110960366...84.m1423.l2649 |

Re: Have You Ever Seen A '36 Roadster Pick-Up ?
A funny thing. I accidently posted this in the "A" Model Forum, first, and it got twenty four (24) replies. In the "V8" Forum, it got two (2) replies. In the "A" Forum, members sent in photos of restored '36 roadster pick-up, plus many comments. What is going on ?
Now about three of the replies were about one member, who was offended, that I would post it in the "A" Forum. Takes all kinds. MIKE |

Re: Have You Ever Seen A '36 Roadster Pick-Up ?
Yes Mike, I have one. I also know Trevor Poulsen, we are members of the Queensland Early Ford V8 Club here in Australia. I have owned the '36 roadster ute, we call them utes over here, short for utility vehicle, for over 25 years now and will probably begin restoration soon when I retire. I used to correspond with two people in the U.S. ( by snail mail before the internet) who had similar vehicles but can't recall their names now....dam memory. I have the info filed away but can't look them up at present because I am away from home. I will look up the details when I get home and see if anyone on here knows them, or if indeed they are members here.

Re: Have You Ever Seen A '36 Roadster Pick-Up ?
The other owners of 36 Roadster Utes in the US that I was corresponding with back in the 80s are....
Don Yeomans from Broad Brook, Connecticut. Lyle Kalp from Valley Centre, Kansas. Harry W Snyder from Chelwelah Washington. I would love to make contact with these people again, does anyone know anyone on the list? Johno |
