Default Re: firewall inside insulator?

I use the firewall insulation from Brattons like pictured in post number 2 . I installed mine when I was building up my roadster and 31 tudor . I installed mine before installing the gas tank and wiring ...The firewall insulator help keep some of the heat out of the cab , it also insulates out some of the sounds . I also use the foil covered bubble insulation under the floor mats and a muffler heat shield to assist in keeping the floor as cool as possible st .

If for whatever reason that the insulator may need to be removed later will be a real pain !!! To remove without damage it will be necessary to remove the choke , gas lines , wiring and probably the gas tank .
