Default New Sill Plates

Hi all,
I am getting near the end of my restoration of my 1929 Model A Tudor Sedan.
I was just looking online at the Bratton's catalog and see that he sells two versions of the sill plates.
One version is made of Aluminum for $18.95 Foreign made.
The other version is made in the USA and is made of Zinc like the originals for $29.95.
Have any of you recently bought one of these sets?
Which fits best or are there any differences between them other than the material they are made with and price?
I would think that the Aluminum set would not turn dull as the zinc will over time.
Please share your thoughts.
Thank you in advance from snowy Minneapolis.

I purchased the zinc set 2-3 years ago. I debated the same question. The zinc set I have has pitted and tarnished pretty badly. Strange, considering that the car has not been in the rain or anything but dry weather since they were installed. I have never washed the car with anything but a mild car wash, and that, only a few times. I am kind of thinking I would have been better off with the aluminum. Should I have applied some kind of sealer? I have tried polishing it out with Mothers Metal polish. Shines the metal up, but won't remove the dark stains or pitting. I am not sure what to expect of the zinc. I am thinking that the car wash "shampoo" may ultimately be the cause. They were always rinsed and chamois dried.

Thank you Chris.
Since I have a new paint job, maybe the Aluminum will be my choice and every thing will look new.
