"B" Distributor ?
I have a simple question for someone. I am redoing two " B" distributors and find a thin flat washer which I do not see a picture of in the green bible or other books I have. When I took them apart I do not remember where it came from. It measures 9/16th" ID and almost 7/8" OD. Does it go between the shaft and the housing or ? Thanks for any help, B.

Re: "B" Distributor ?
I believe both washers go together. This is from the 1932 book page 6-11.

Re: "B" Distributor ?
Problem is this particular washer would not fit down inside the cam under a lock washer, too large on OD. As I stated it is about 7/8 " diam. I have the same picture you are showing but appreciate your input just the same and thank you.

Re: "B" Distributor ?
Try the bottom side where 12170 goes through the housing. I believe there was a thin washer underneath when I rebuilt mine a month ago.

Re: "B" Distributor ?
is there a washer that goes on the head before you mount the distributor?

Re: "B" Distributor ?
Agreed, no washer between the distributor housing and the cylinder head.
