Exclamation Powder Coated Water Outlet Pipe....

I removed the repop "powder coated" water return pipe on my '29 roadster today. I'm in the process of correcting the cowl-to-hood-to-radiator shell
fitment on the car. When I removed the water pipe I found the powder coat on the interior of the pipe starting to let go. Not real bad (car only has about 550 miles) but enough to be not good. And it will only get worst. Unfortunately, I am going to put the pipe back on because I do
not have another and I want to drive the car. However, next parts order is going to include a new stainless steel un-powder coated water return pipe. Some people think powder coating is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Not me......just give me a good coat of black enamel where it's suppose to be and no where else! I bought the car restored from a guy
who had a supposed Model-A guru do the restoration. Yeah, right and I
have a bridge in Brooklynn I'll sell ya' real cheap..............

I like the stainless steel pipes, painted black. Hard to find a good original.

I believe only the 30-31 pipes are being reproduced in stainless.

I think the early pipe is only for the powerhouse generator applications, so it would include most of 29.

The stainless water pipes are being made for all years of Model A production. Here is the link. Great products. Gar Williams
