Default Bob Anderson Passed Away

It is with a heavy heart that I need to let everyone know that Bob Anderson has passed away. Bob spent any years on the MARC Board of Directors, JSC and was the winner of the Brady Award. Bob also gave endless hours to MAFFI and has 2 cars in the Model A Ford Museum that he donated. He was a friend, mentor and life coach for me for many years and will be greatly missed.

Sorry to hear that. I remember meeting Bob for the first time at our 1988 at Louis meet when his coupe died on the mandatory tour and I was helping him with it. I bought some fenders from him a few years ago and met him at the museum when our group came up by bus from St. Louis.
Great guy and did a lit for the MARC membership.
My condolences to the Anderson family.

My thoughts are with Bob's family and friends. I first met Bob twenty years ago when I purchased a steel back Victoria from him.

He went above and beyond to help with shipping the car to New Zealand. We kept in regular contact and I was lucky enough to stay with him and his beloved Chris in 2010 which was a highlight of my travels.

The Model A family has lost a great man.

I would like to add my condolences to Bob's family as well. Bob was very instrumental in teaching me how to use the archives and would personally assist me when I was at the Benson Center. He also took the time to introduce me to some of the workers at the employee restaurant above the archives and they would allow me to eat there when I was working. He was most generous with his time and interest in both the pick up and the panel delivery. One day, almost 15 years ago, he called me over and pointed out a different than normal box that had some of the original body drawings in it that ultimately allowed me to get enough information to build the lower 'dropped floor' area of the panel delivery truck. We competed at several Fine Point events and he was always gracious and complementary. I consider Bob to be a personal friend, and am deeply saddened by his passing.

I might be wrong, but was this the man who made the correct welting tips for the Cabriolet ? That's a good example of a quality product.

Bob was a great guy who was an enthusiastic influence on me for almost 20 years. Always with a smile and a quip. His impact on the hobby was great.
