LeBaron Bonney on Australian Pheaton
I have an early 1928 Pheaton.
Do any Australian members have any experience in fitting LeBaron Bonney upholstery and hood kits to this model? |

Re: LeBaron Bonney on Australian Pheaton
G'day Wagga!
I also have an early (June 28) phaeton. Sorry I can't help you with the upholstery question, but just wanted to make contact coz we AR people need to know who's out there! You can check mine out in my albums. There's a "Fans of Phaetons" group here as well, which I joined but there doesn't seem to be any action there! Maybe join it and ask this question to the group and get something happening?? There's not a lot of talk about phaetons in the wider group - it seems that we scored all the open cars. The Kiwis have their own FordBarn group too. Maybe the Aussies need one? Downunder A's!! P.S. Whitewalls? |

Re: LeBaron Bonney on Australian Pheaton
I can't remember now whether it is the '28-29 cars or the 30-31 ones that the American hood bows do not fit so if the LeBaron hood is made for American cars, you might run into trouble. Maybe others can answer this one. Otherwise, I know of no dramas. I generally do all my own trimming from go to whoa.
