Default Bob Drake New '36 Rear Fenders?

Anyone heard anything about Drake's new rear coupe/roadster/cabrio fenders? He mentions them in his blog, but that's all I could find out...

Have not heard that one. He is a member here. Look him up in the member list and send him a PM/email. He goes by 'Bob Drake Repro'.

Its about time somebody made steel 36 fenders! Hopefully they do a good job reproducing them.

Interesting. A few years ago Steve Frisbee at SAR was exploring doing this, we were in the early stages of working out my lending a pair for scanning. He'd just completed the '33-4 3 window body tooling and didn't feel he should go that much further out on the ledge at that time. Big expense in doing good tooling. This will be interesting to watch.

There's also a guy in my part of the world that is hand forming '36 coupe/rd rears, but I'm not sure he's ever completed a pair yet. He's running a thread on hamb showing the roadster body he's fabricating.

That roadster he is building is stunning fabrication.
