Running board braces
What is the best way to bend the four running board braces up about a quarter of an inch? Over the years I think my braces have bent down maybe as much as one half of an inch on the outer end? Working on a 1930 roadster.

Re: Running board braces
I had to practically reconstruct some of the brackets on my AA. I heated and straightened them as much as possible in vice and on anvil. After reinstalling I use a piece of pipe over the end to bend them a little to fine tune and get everything lined up.

Best if the chassis is in its four wheels. Otherwise steady the frame someway |
