Default Bleeding brakes with a Midland booster

This is the power brake setup on my '55 T-Bird. It's getting a repaint under the hood.
I unbolted the master cylinder from the firewall so we can get a clean paint line behind it and found brake fluid in the rubber boot, so it's getting a replacement MC or a kit if the insides look good.
Here's the question...

I haven't bled one of these in-line boosters before, are there any special procedures, do's, don't s, whatever... for bleeding the brakes with the Midland power booster? I believe it has a bleed valve on top, in the yellow circle.
Can this be done properly before the engine is back in the car? (without vacuum for boost)

Thanks
.

dms,
I did a brake job this passed summer on my '57 Bird. Replaced master cylinder and all wheel cylinders and cleaned out lines. Used silicon Dot 5 fluid. First I filled master and let it gravity fill system for a while. Very slow pumping of the pedal, and a pedal blocking device works ok, for lone work. I first bled the power assist bleeder on the left fender apron first. Then continued to the rear furthest wheel, etc. All this done with no engine running, no problem with the system, except for one leaking line in the rear. Silicon is b**ch to seal sometimes.

I have done my 56 Bird with the Midland Booster and did it as I normally would. No special precautions. I also used dot 5 (silicone) fluid, which does not attack paint.

Thanks to both of you,
I'm assuming it has regular fluid in it now cuz it ate the paint.
Since changing to Dot 5 silicone fluid would require the entire system to be 100% flushed out and new wheel cylinders....
that may be a project for later, especially if I go for front discs.
