Default 1954 Mercury wiring

I have been taking the dash out of my 54 Mercury to repair the gas gage. Someway I have either blown a fuse or disrupted the flow of power. IT has two fuses that I can find under the dash but there has to be more. Where? Everything in the dash worked except the gas gage until I began my moving things around. No power to the ingition switch, lights, dash, etc. Any suggestions appreciated. Any web sites to find the wiring diagram

On my 54 ford there is one fuse on the headlight switch, you didn't say what/where fuse you found?

Thanks for the response. The two I found are next to the radio, on the side near the steering column. They are stacked and I pulled each and they are fine.

Found the problem, I pulled the wire loose from the voltage regulator. Now, whick wire from the gas gage goes to the sending unite on top of the gas tank, hot side or other side?

I should have said, wire from the amp gage in the dash was pulled loose. Thanks, still need to know if I need to run the hot side of the gas gage to the sending unite?

Wire from accessory terminal of ignition switch to one side of gas gauge.(either one, gauge doesn't care) and from other side of gauge to sender unit.
