We lost our son in 2012 and were told last Thanksgiving our daughter had pancreatic cancer. I asked everyone we knew to pray for her and us. I just couldn't handle losing another child, though they are grown ups with kids of their own. Fortunately she is one of the lucky small percentage that caught it early and is supposedly over this threat now. Been a terrible time for us but we feel blessed to have one back for now. All I can offer is my prayers for you and the family. Life goes on, but it is never the same. If you ever feel the need to talk, 925 820 0394.

Please accept my condolences from about as far away from you as one can get - Australia. Some days are crap from the start.

Your son served his country. All of us who did so made our contract with our country to live and possibly die defending her either at home or in foreign fields. Not something we talked about but every man and woman in uniform knows it. It makes us stronger if a bit different. We salute your son and his service.

Thank you for sharing that tragic but encouraging story. The power of prayer is beyond that which can be expressed by words. Our family and children have benefited from it immeasurably. My prayers are with your daughter and your family, and BTW, one of our family's great friends and neighbors survived pancreatic cancer.

Mein Mitleid, 30 CC!

Life and survival is difficult to understand. God, if there is one, has never been merciful. The fates are unfair. Fates change the lives of the bereaved.

I wish youall a lot of strength!

We lost a 22 year old son three days after Christmas in 2000. There is no word for this loss. When you lose parents you become an orphan, when you lose a spouse you become a widow or widower, but there is no word for a parent who loses a child.
God bless,
Marty

I wish ther was something I could do for any parent that's lost a child. I can't imagine what it must be like. I'm SO very very sorry for you. I will say a prayer for you and your family.
