Default looking for a source of Tacoma cream paint

I tried my local paint supplier he could not find a cross reference number. Does any one have a source?

I found a possible match on the web RAL 1001 and a DuPont code of ys314 But am unsure of how well it would match.

Here is the answer, I found on the internet! I just amaze myself! LOL

Are you going by the color off your computer? That looks too beige to me. I'm assuming you don't have the Paint and finish guide from the National clubs. I would try and have the color off the paint chip in the guide matched. There's a little hole in the wall paint store in a creepy part of town that has been able to match anything I've thrown at him. Even touch up paint for a faded 40 year old restoration.

You can try http://www.autocolorlibrary.com/ also known as TCP Global. I got some Straw color paint from them that I haven't sprayed yet, but it looks good in the can.

Frank, if you are trying to match the paint that is already on the car, just take the car to Jimmy. He matched the mountain brown on my car perfectly. He has the computer and camera. John

Hi John,

Jimmie is gone, retired. I am going to paint a set of wheels, that I would like to match my 31 Roadster wheels. They don't have the ability to scan wheels because the platform is too small. I'll need to bring the roadster over to ARF some day when it stops raining, possibly in October ! LOL and look over the swatch books, our weather has been so bad, I only take out my 31 Coupe in the rain. Your Mountain Brown coupe looked great at Rhinebeck, (Rainbeck). I went to the Model A & T gathering at Beardsley Orchard in Ct., even though it rained most of the day we all had a nice gathering, I trailer-ed my coupe over because I set up a vendor spot. Put my awning out and a bunch of guys and a few girls gathered under it. I sold out most of my A &T parts, meet a bunch of great people, and came home with a pocket full of cash. Can't beat that!! Don Beardsley is a top shelf guy, had coffee, tea, donuts, and scones, for us to munch on. Looking forward to the next one.

I just painted my rims. I had a hard time finding paint. Mix up my recipe and see how it fairs. It looks great on my wheels and it matched the color of my rims extremely close.
I'm not 100 percent sure my wheels weren't repainted in the past, but I don't think. Since you have a comparison you can tweak the colors to get it just right.

Don't laugh, but it involves tremclad ( rustoleum to most).

Mix 1 part sand to 1 part recreational white. Add a bit of hardner and thin to spray.

Give it a try with the pint cans to see, but I was very happy with it.
Use the clear gloss if you want even more shine.

I bought mine from http://www.modelawheelcolors.com/
Yes it is powder coating but my car is a driver and not a blue ribbon trailer queen.
