Fuel delivery was tested and ruled out. Carb was exchanged with a carb from another good running car with same results. As soon as I can work on the car, I will check the fuel line to make sure it doesn’t stick out beyond the olive.

We have a winner!
Jacksonlll’s advise about the fuel line being too long was dead on.
Car was driven 25 miles without the assistance of the electric pump.
