Default Hood to cowl and grill gap??

How much gap is there suppose to be between the hood and cowl and the hood and grill? I mocked mine up and it seems to be quite a big gap on both sides.

How big is "big"? Is your gap even top to bottom, front to rear??

How about you post a picture of what you got and maybe we can get a visual on what you need to do next? Without side panels it shouldn't be an issue other than dropping the radiator but I would like to see what you are encountering. Also would like to know specifically what you are working on (i.e. year & bodystyle)

I think that is a radiator shell with no cap or crank hole, and with or without a badge hole as well.

For a rod.
