Say it isn't so. Well maybe the woodie is the new joy ride. He does have several others that need his attention.

I'm fine, well other than the fact that I traded for a project 'B.O.A.T.' Means:

'Bust out another thousand'..... Well not always a thousand. I did make a new pivot bracket for the steering gear from a 7/16" ford head stud with a tall nut welded on and chucked into my drill press and shaped into a ball stud with my angle grinder. Just haven't used this truck in a while and want to set up my 20" planer in the shed where the two ton resides. When we take the trash to the dump these days we usually take the woodie because the dog can come along and we don't have to tie down the load.

The price seems like a very good deal. I guess selling a big truck on an island is tough. I think, its short a few thousand.

I’ll ditto that. The truck is fully sorted. Very fairly priced imho. Stu

Once it gets off the island, which is a free ferry ride (all tickets are round trip), it's about 1 1/2 hours to Seattle. Well, 3 hours on it's own wheels. Big trucks are a tough sell in any market, and getting worse when the millenials are dreaming of a 'vintage' subaru wrx like they couldn't afford in high school. As for glass, It's all in except for the new windshields. I should update the woodie thread.

Get that, my sister is in Tacoma.

Olympia wa is close and Oregon is right there. Someone is going to get lucky.

On to other projects. Going to have to change your picture though. Best of luck!!

Sold it today, full price. I guess I made about 60 cents an hour, as I had about 4 grand total into it. Oh well, try that with fishing, golf or watching sports on TV for your weekend. Can't get anything for that. Besides, my son and I will be planing lumber under cover from now on, now that the planer shed is freed up. Besides, I had a blast building that thing!

True and I have actually said this to people, You can quit golf, but you can't get back your greens fees.

"been there, done that" as they say. Next!!!
