Default Mechanix Illustrated

I know somebody's got this collecting dust somewhere .
I'm looking at one of Tom Brownell's books , he mentions his first car as Model A , years later he restored this car with plans from a 1950 issue of Mechanix Illustrated , a "sportsman" body , honored with the mags gold hammer award.
Anybody seen this in your many years gone by ?

I would start with "Joe's Paper Shack" which you can simply google and click onto their website.
