I just completed a body off frame restoration of my 30 standard coupe. Do any of you have a body reassembly order?

WELL, you asked for it: "DO IT IN THE REVERSE ORDER OF WHEN YOU TOOK IT APART"----LOL
My Model A Dog prompted me to write this, he's a RASCAL!
I'm just waiting for my ANTI-PAIN-PILL & COFFEE to "kick" in.

I owned an Early '30 Standard Coupe & I understand that they're FAIRLY RARE.

I am sure I do. I have restored quite a few Coupe over the years, so tell me specifically what you are needing help with and let me see what I can do.

OK, perhaps I should have been more specific. I removed the body from my 30 coupe over 20 years ago which included a complete disassembly of all fenders, removal of the gas tank, running boards, floors, top material, wood, etc. All body parts were recently restored and painted and no, they were not fitted before painting. The chassis was completely restored as was the engine, trans, rear end and brakes. All running gear has been reinstalled and I am ready to mount the body parts on the frame. I've started by installing the running boards, splash aprons and am now ready to attach the front fenders and front apron. What comes next through complete body reassembly. Thanks guys -

After the splash pans I would install and fit the cab, body or whatever you want to the call main body with the firewall - then the fenders.

Oh Lordie, did you read the nine million comments around here about frame sag?

It sounds as if all parts that came off are going back on? Things should go better re-assembling a car that had its own parts....but not always!
If one is building a car from other original parts or repo parts the car should re-assemble before painting. Otherwise it might remind you of the Johnny Cash song " One piece at a time".....worth a listen
