30-31 Roadster door question
What closes off the area between the door and the sub rail. With my door closed I can see the ground through the gap. No other cars locally to look at.
Thanks |

Re: 30-31 Roadster door question
There is a rubber seal that slides in a channel on the bottom of the door. Got the seal from Brattons.

Re: 30-31 Roadster door question
The repo doors I got from Brookville did not have the track to slide the seals onto. My original doors had the track.

Re: 30-31 Roadster door question
Hello, I believe Snyders has a lower seal that fits between the door panel and door edge for the Repo or original doors that don’t have the retainer. Your right on the gap , does seem large,

Re: 30-31 Roadster door question
The pre mid 31 had a sweep at the bottom of the door panel. The 31 had a “keeper” track for a T rubber gasket that crimped in. I can be off on the swap over dates.

Gdmn
Yes easily made but not easily installed. I have a Lenco panel spotter that I’ve used to put them on before They’re just so narrow it’s hard to weld them on. Maybe pop rivets???? Don’t likee them but sometimes….. |
