Default Sue Mitchell

Sad to say that Sue Mitchell has passed away. She was a lovely lady and great friend of the the Model A community, and long time member of the Sonoma A's.

Miss Sue was a great lady. Each time I called and spoke to her she was as nice as could be and even made a custom shifter for me that is the same length as my normal cane shifter...God Bless Her...Ernie in Arizona

Very sad, a great lady:

A story about her:

A number of years ago we had a club member driving his Model A from California to the east cost. They were in Texas and the Borg Warner overdrive failed. Some folks in the Dallas Model A Ford club came to their aid. The car was brought into one of their member's shop. They pulled the rear end and found the Borg Warner was pretty much toast. Our club member called me and asked how well did I know Sue. My response was, well I have known her for years. He wanted to know if I had any influence to get past a 12-week delivery time on a Mitchell overdrive.

I called Sue and explained the circumstances and she said have you friend call me with a credit card number and I will have one shipped today. She was as good as her words, in a few days our club member was back on the road headed for the east coast with a new Mitchell overdrive installed.

Sad news. I always enjoyed chatting with her on the phone . You could feel her passion and interest and care in what they did in providing a high quality overdrive and transmissions to us in the model A community.

She was a joy .

My wife and I also spoke with Sue at Reno back in June. We found her to be an incredibly competent person but unlike some, very pleasant at the same time.
Toady hasn't begun well here after this news. Our condolences and thoughts go to the family.

Sad news. Sue really helped me out when I was doing my F150 install. There's nothing she wouldn't do for you, all you had to do was ask. A great loss for the Model A community.

Oh Boy, can't believe Sue is gone to be with Glen. Her voice of Mitchell Manufacturing was always a delight to hear. Will miss sharing her birthday cake with the family at the Turlock Swap meet. We both shared the same January 30 birthday. Know we all will miss her my condolences to Steve and Cindy..

So sad, I talked to her just a couple weeks ago. She loved to take time to share stories.
A nice lady, and knew her stuff.

A lovely lady lost. Gone to join Glen. Condolences to Cindy and Steve. We had a great meeting with them all at Reno. They always treated us like long lost friends.
Diane and I will miss her cheery voice, and cheerful caring nature.
