Distinguishing between AC and CW shocks
Where should I look to find the markings on a set of shocks I bought for my car? They seem to work properly and I have wire brushed them thoroughly and cannot find the markings so I know where they mount.

Re: Distinguishing between AC and CW shocks
Boy, its been awhile. But, they are plainly marked and if I remember correctly the markings are either on the mounting face or the bottom edge.
Maybe some repro's don't have these markings. |

Re: Distinguishing between AC and CW shocks
If you can't find ac and cw, look for the position of the notch for mounting the arm
Visualize that the arm bolt is on the back and you can tell which way the arm would be pointing LF-RR would point same as would LR-RF |

Re: Distinguishing between AC and CW shocks
Sometimes the AC and CW are on the shock body themselves besides the covers.
