Door Dovetail Clips
I pulled out my old dovetail clips and the old dried out rubber pieces.
I noticed that the new copper colored clips (attached) are not the same metal as the ones I removed. The old ones feel more like spring steel in that they have "memory." The new ones bend all over the place. So I put the new rubber in but used the old clips. Have you guys seen the same thing? Leo |

Re: Door Dovetail Clips
I guess they figured if you didn't have any at all they would be ok.

Re: Door Dovetail Clips
I used the old clips also. I'm not sure why the vendors even include them in the kit. Useless.

Re: Door Dovetail Clips
The kits I have bought in the past had proper metal parts, I don't know why things have changed.
