I'd love to hear how that goes, what a great tool. I'm thinking about one as well.

You will soon wonder how you did any work without a lift. Enjoy.

I purchased a 4 post BendPak lift a little over a year ago. Great to drive the car up on and get to the grease fittings and any other job that requires you to lay on the floor. Hope you got the drip trays. I use mine also to double the size of my garage. One call always is on the lift and another one underneath.

Micheal that sounds great! I'd have one in a heart beat if my garage was about 2-3 feet taller in there.

I've never heard anyone say 'I wish I didn't have that lift, I'd rather go back to crawling under the car on the concrete on my back.'

Yeah, it requires a ten foot ceiling when the car is up high enough to work under it without stooping. 4 post lifts are also handy for installing bodies onto chassis. Makes it a one man job. Just lift the body up with rope slings high enough to roll your chassis under it and slowly let it down. Also can be used as a buffet table when your car club visits your garage!

Welllllllllll, did it arrive. What brand did you buy and what is the minimum ceiling height required for coupe?
When I built my garage I tried to keep the roof line low so as to not screw up the neighbors water view. That was a mistake, they turned out to be jerks, now I could use a few more feet for a lift.

I bought a Direct Lift 4 post several years ago. Also use it to lift and turn small boats. Great tool.

As we get older need to work smarter. This will make your job easier and make your body "last longer" with less ache's. A great garage tool, congratulations!

Making hay, I miss it, but it gives me more time to work on the A and see my grandchildren.

My retirement home includes plenty of home space for Pam and the all the grandkids plus 1,200 floor heated squares of garage with a two post hoist. From lifting the A to hoisting up the lawn tractor to clean the deck, the best decision made was to install it. You're going to love it.

Your met department must be a bit like ours. They did start forecasting election results before they moved to forecasting weather.
