1932 ford V8 Motor Complete
City:
Forest Hill
State:
MD
Price:
6500
I have a complete 1932 ford Flathead motor (straight down drains), from the air cleaner to oil pan, including a 32 trans that came out of a AACA award winning 3W the motor had less than 1000 miles on it when pulled. The old gentleman that owned it was named David Smith of Bel Air MD. His car was the car used to model the Franklin Mint 3W coupe from. The story behind the motor is the clutch disc was stuck to the fly wheel, and my father and I, in an effort to unstick the clutch pulled the car and when the clutch released it inadvertently damaged the Babbit main bearings. I have called H&H flatheads and they charge $875 to install the insert mains. this motor has been in dry storage for sometime, with the cylinders oiled. it has all accessories, including the correct carb, generator, intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, breather, fuel pump, etc. it has a correct 32 trans with the correct shifter lid, and is mounted on an engine stand, that permits the engine to be run. I'm asking $6500 for the whole assembly or best offer. I can be reached at 410-984-9339 or by email [email protected]
