Is this adjuster spring for Tudor driver's seat repro'd or I am hoping to get lucky, or close, at my friendly hardware store? Searched with no luck.

When I did my deuce delivery I had a picture of the spring so I went to my local True Value Hardware store ans he had a large board with all the springs available. I found one that worked perfect.

Hmmmm - the body of my new ride was from a restored car. It was like a ratchet setup and a piece bolted to the floor to lock it down in different positions. You twist the handle and the seat will go forward or back - put the handle in a horizontal position and the seat is locked in place. I know there were different models that might have different mechanisms - mine is a 5-window. Not that I am using it but I woukd like to know what I have as there is no spring involved.

All of the '32 adjustable seats are spring assisted, including the standard coupes (5-windows). The photo below shows the assist spring in a standard coupe.

That looks similar to the Tudor spring, if not the same. Seems like Henry would use just one if it would serve. Thanks, David.
