After the blasting removed the 10 coats of paint and we could see what we were dealing with, I had the body professionally done with brand new floors and firewall, and all rust removed and patch panels installed. All the gaps are nice, and the car looks good with or without the hood. It's all bodyworked and primed, you pick the color and there you go. While the body was getting worked, I did everything else with all new parts...drivetrain, fuel lines, brakes, steering, and suspension. I really spared no expense, and wanted something dependable that I didn't worry about my girlfriend driving. The car's solid, and has been my daily driver all spring. It starts right up, the TH350 shifts smooth through all gears, and it stops on a dime. The exhaust sounds great. The doors open and close smoothly, the lights work(high and low beams), and the gauges work and light up(and dim). I put a Painless wiring harness in it...it wasn't totally painless, but not too bad! The battery is in the trunk, so I ran big 2/0 gauge cables to the starter and the engine block...as well as a ground from the engine to the frame, and body to frame. There are no starting or charging issues with this car. There's a new fuel cell in the trunk. I want to get back into a hot rod...an AV8 roadster or coupe on a '32 frame, maybe a flathead or a 6-deuce nailhead. I change cars like I change underwear. Anyway, that's why I'm hesitantly selling the '35. Clean title and current tags, as well as the old-style, 1935 California license plate that has the same number as the current plates. I'm more than happy to assist any shipper you choose, and can store the car in my garage for a little while if needed. Give me a call or shoot me a message if you have any questions. More pictures and details: http://adambarton.com/Buy_me%21.html Here's a little movie I made with some recent pictures and older movie clips of the car from it's first drive...before body work, exhaust, etc: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7UIdez2eQw Or you can search under my username, av8flathead, on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/results?searc...8flathead&aq=f $28,000 or best offer...anything reasonable, really...or trade for a 1932 Ford roadster, 3w, or 5w. Would also trade for a 1928-1931 Ford roadster or coupe on a 1932 Ford frame. The more traditional, the better. No bikes, or cars of any other year. Thanks.
