Just in time for your Fall or Winter project. I have a 1949 Merc short block for sale. It is 3 5/16" bore x 4.00" stroke. The cylinder bores are clean, there is almost no ridge at the top of the cylinders. I do not see any cracks in the block, the heads are off. There is an aluminum timeing gear and adjustable lifters. I do not know for sure if there is an after market cam, I suspect there is. The oil pan is in place. A stock Merc intake manifold is included.Pick-up only, this issue is open to discussion.
