Default 40 conv.w/strip channel

The upper door w/strip channels mounted on the top irons appear to be too long by an 1/8 of an inch or so and no provision for any kind of a seal.If I elongated the screw holes I might be able to move the channels back enough.I should not have to do either. The forward screw hole in the channels do not have a matching hole in the top iron.
