Default Radiator Shell Badge Mountin...How to??

Hello I have a 31 radiator shell and purchased an aftermarket black script FORD top badge to be installed. It has the "cup" behind. Whats the best way to flare the cup without damage to install?

I believe that with original parts, that cup is a snap-in fit into the hole in the shell. But if yours is lose, maybe some silicone to hold it?

It should pop in and stay, adhesive if not.

I have a repro that the cup separated from the front logo portion poor rivet assembly. GE Silicon sealant has held well

My first choice for badge to cup separation would be to rough it up and use JB Weld. As mentioned, the cup should be a press fit to the shell.
