Only for the earliest AA trucks. Later trucks and ALL after the October '29 Borg-Warner 4 speed were upgraded.

If you have an early axle, it is necessary to do a piece by piece comparison to be sure - its easy to be fooled.

I believe the ball is the same. Parts list show the heavy duty wishbone AA-3405-B for 1930-31 AA trucks but don't show a corresponding AA version of A-3430 socket/ball receiver. So one assumes the engine/transmission/bell housing/ball receiver are the same.

Thanks for the information. The current ball is not worn but is badly pitted. It is obvious this wishbone was out in the weather for a long time. At some point someone attempted to use the rubber ball socket but only used the bottom half!

Obviously there was at least 1 inch of play!. We are going to install an org. socket and a spacer hand hopefully will work. This AA is a nice truck with a Woods hydro. dump. Will be used mostly for parades and business promotion.

Just sandblast the rust off the ball or sand it off, and don't worry about the pits, as they will help hold grease. Think of it as an oil lite bushing. LOL
