When ever I am in a crowd of Model A folks, I always here a comment, wished I had a Model A pu. Well, I have one listed for sale in the swap meet section, with just about a give away price and no interest. Can't figure it out.

It looks like you have only had it listed in the swap section for a day or two. Fordbarn has a limited viewership. Ebay get a huge amount of looks and click, but you do have to pay a sellers fee. I am pretty sure you could sell it on eBay if you want a fast sale. Just a suggestion.

The two you have listed are far from complete vehicles. Piecing together the rest of the needed parts would be more expensive than finding a complete one to start with.

Also, you are probably only going to attract buyers within 100 miles or so of you. Few will incur expenses to have one of those shipped to them.

Old red, that isnt a give away price, but if you are serious about selling it, listen to whats been said. EBAY

many folks on the Barn are looking for a bargain. A very complete truck near me is for sale here for 5500. Been for sale for 9 months now with no takers...............

just because beds are 1500. on ebay, doesnt mean they sell.............
do a search on what has sold, then you will get real numbers

Contact all of the nearby (maybe a couple of hundred miles) Model A clubs and ask them to put an advertisement in their monthly newsletter. It is good that fordbarn is read all around the world but the person that buys your truck will probably live within a couple of hundred miles from you.

Last summer we put a very nice driver on Hemmings, had three offers in first two weeks.

Price has to be right for what your selling.

There are more buyers out there, good cars sell.

what you are asking is close to its value if you were putting one together from parts, from what I can see. The bed is the real expensive part with crating, wrapping and shipping, I paid 1500 for a '31 Budd cab in good shape for my AA project and it was 30 miles from where I live. What has been said is true, you can usually buy one complete and running and in good condition if you are patient and shop around, for what it will cost to build one like yours. Those parts orders, engine, trans, interior, fenders, paint and body work etc, etc add up fast (ask me how I know). I looked at your ad and seriously thought about building another PU, but then decided not to. Some one on EBAY will buy it and make it into a street rod, and feel they are getting a bargain, I believe in keeping them stock.
