Default '32 Roadster w/s frame

I bought a used aftermarket '32 Roadster windshield frame, I then ordered all the mounting hardware. The w/s frame mounting stud is 3/8" on both ends, the threads in my w/s frame are 5/16". Did I get the wrong stud or are the threads in the frame wrong?

The threads in the windshield frame are incorrect. The original phaeton/roadster windshield frame mounting studs for '32 were 3/8" in diameter on both ends. The studs for '33-'36 phaeton/roadster windshield frames were 3/8" on the outer end and 5/16" on the end attached to the frame.

Speedway has listed in their catalogue a stud that is 5/16 fine on one end and 3/8th fine on the other. Says it is made for their repro frames.

For those who care, the reproduction '32 w/s frames from N/C Industries in Pennsylvania have the original 3/8 threads.

Not sure what brand the frame is. I will have to find new studs or modify the ones I have. Thanks everyone.
