I am in the process of rebuilding the cross shaft. The hardest parts were driving out the tapered pins, and driving the shaft out from the brake linkage arms on the ends. It involved a heat gun, liquid wrench, hammer, punch, and a 2 ton press.

Here are some old threads on the topic:

Keep V-8ing and 4-banging!

I tried to hook another
To see if I'd do a little good,
But ain't no place to put it
'Less I perforate the hood.

Wanted, lower side sections of 32 radiator cowl.

Todd,

A bronze oil light that I ordered from McMaster Carr. I just punched in all the required dimensions and it gave the bushing selection.

Keep V-ing and 4-banging!

That helps me quite a bit I find it interesting that there are not parts for it in the catalogs, I have four cars between 32 and 37 and they are all wore to some degree. Did you put in Zerks also?
