Default Production or Custom F1/Woody Wagon?

This photo was posted on a FaceBook site but I didn't see any info about it. It appears to be a '46-'47 pickup clip, with a late 40s wagon body and I don't know what chassis. QUESTION I have - might this have been a common production vehicle, or a custom build that combines car & truck components? Either way, I really like it but just wonder about if any like it were built by Ford.

Have you seen this thread? I think there was a bit of a discussion on this in the thread.

Here is a link: https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=175939

Keep V-8ing and 4-banging!

I tried to hook another
To see if I'd do a little good,
But ain't no place to put it
'Less I perforate the hood.

Wanted, lower side sections of 32 radiator cowl.

Yes, answered and forwarded. Great help and this is all great info. I wish it was mine! I'd settle for a stock jailbar pickup but just got a short box '56 F100 a while ago so will go with it as a possible next project. Love those wood bodied F1s though.

Thanks!

The rear fenders appear to be from a 46. I think the truck/woodie looks great. I would like to see some interior shots and one of the rear of the truck.

The rear fenders are car, not truck. The windshield is truck. Making a car Woodie/truck combo would have been easier with an earlier model. By jailbar time, car and truck frame and chassis were different. How different, I don't know, but people reframe old trucks all the time. Whatever it is, it's pretty cool!
